Instructions & usage
Glow Dance Freeze is a 15-minute activity for 4–30 players, suggested for ages 4–12. Prepare the printable pieces in about 5 minutes.
How to play
An adult shows a movement card while music or a spoken rhythm plays. Children move in their own comfortable space. On Freeze, pause or sit still briefly, then choose the next card. No flashing lights or darkness are needed.
Prepare the game
Printed sheets, pencils, paper markers; adult scissors for cut-out cards. Optional quiet music or spoken rhythm.
Easier version
Use seated hand movements and a visual stop card.
Harder version
Let children suggest a new accessible movement.
For a larger group
Make supervised groups of four to six, with a full play set and a helper or reader for each group. Rotate turns and offer a seated or quiet option.
Where to play
Indoors; outdoor use only in a supervised bounded area with dry paper and suitable weather.
Printing and use
Choose the matching A4 or US Letter version. Print one test copy; crafts must be printed at actual size (100%). Adult help is needed for scissors and small parts. General activities can run alongside a clearly labelled optional Christian session.
