Instructions & usage
Three distinct complete colouring illustrations on separate cut-out bookmarks, with no pre-filled text inside. Separate A4 and US Letter files.
How to use
Colour each of the three different illustrations, then cut around the rounded outlines with adult help. Back with spare card if you want firmer bookmarks. Choose a book and use a different bookmark for each reader.
At home
Choose space as your story or conversation theme. Let children name the pictures, describe their choices and work at their own pace.
In a classroom or activity group
Set out pencils, print one sheet per child and provide adult cutting help.
Printing and materials
Choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100%. Ages 4–8 with adult guidance. Use paper, pencils and child-safe scissors.
Illustrations are simplified and not to scale. The pictures are theme prompts, not a timeline, habitat reconstruction or scientific diagram.
What you’ll need
Paper, pencils, paper counters and adult cutting help where needed
Make the most of it
Choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100%. Read the activity instructions; print maze answers separately and supervise cutting.
Printing tips
Check the file’s paper size and print one test page. Choose “fit” if edges are clipped.
