Instructions & usage

Create your own pretend meal with this two-page paper craft. Page one has a large empty meal base; page two has nine black-and-white food cutouts. Colour the pictures, choose foods, try different arrangements and glue them onto the mat.

At home

Talk about familiar foods and invite your child to describe their choices. Leave the pieces loose for repeat play or glue a finished meal. Drawing extra foods is welcome.

In the classroom

Use the mats for a pretend cafe, food vocabulary or small-group craft activity. Children may choose different combinations. There is no single right meal. Print extra cutout sheets to share.

Print and make

Choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100%. Use pencils or crayons, glue and age-appropriate scissors with adult help. This is paper pretend play, not dietary guidance. Individual activities are also included in the Make My Meal Master Pack.
