Instructions & usage
Draw an animal for the kind traveller with a simple illustrated starting scene and plenty of blank space. Free A4 and US Letter Bible story drawing worksheets.
What children draw
The prompt is “Draw an animal for the kind traveller”. The lower illustration sets the scene; children add their own drawing in the blank space. There is no single finished picture to copy or answer key.
At home
Read or retell Luke 10:25–37 together. Ask what belongs in the missing part of the scene, then let your child choose the details. Invite them to tell you about the finished drawing.
In Sunday school or the classroom
Share the story before handing out the page. Offer pencils and crayons, allow time to draw and invite children to describe how their picture connects with the story. Accept different artistic interpretations.
Printing and materials
Choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100%. Suitable for ages 4–8 with adult guidance; younger children can explain their ideas aloud. Paper, pencils and crayons are enough.
Read the Bible passage: Luke 10:25–37
Talk about this story
The Samaritan stopped to care for a traveller who needed help and took him to an inn on his own animal. The passage does not specify the kind of animal.
Children choose an animal to draw and can add a path toward an inn. Keep the conversation on practical kindness and helping others.
What you’ll need
Paper, pencils and crayons
Make the most of it
Read or retell the linked Bible passage. Choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100%. Children complete the missing drawing in their own way.
