Instructions & usage
A pencil maze with a separately checked answer route and three small themed illustrations. Separate A4 and US Letter files.
How to use
Start at the top opening and trace a route through the open passages to the bottom finish. Print the answer sheet separately for an adult or for checking afterwards. The scene is an imaginary pencil puzzle, not a real journey.
At home
Choose dinosaurs as your story or conversation theme. Let children name the pictures, describe their choices and work at their own pace.
In a classroom or activity group
Keep the answer sheet aside and offer a pencil for tracing before using colour.
Printing and materials
Choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100%. Ages 5–9 with adult guidance. Use paper, pencils. Separate answer sheets are included.
Illustrations are simplified and not to scale. The pictures are theme prompts, not a timeline, habitat reconstruction or scientific diagram.
What you’ll need
Paper, pencils, paper counters and adult cutting help where needed
Make the most of it
Choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100%. Read the activity instructions; print maze answers separately and supervise cutting.
Printing tips
Check the file’s paper size and print one test page. Choose “fit” if edges are clipped.
