Read the project notes and gather the required materials before printing the template. Let children choose colours and decorations, and leave time for experimenting. An adult can help with cutting or tricky assembly while the child decides how the finished creation should look.
In the classroom
Prepare a sample of any unfamiliar fold or joining technique. Organise materials into small trays and offer room for individual choices within the project. Finish with a short sharing session where children can explain a design decision or show a detail they are pleased with.
Before you print, check the resource’s instructions and available paper sizes. Choose the files you need, open a preview and try one test copy. Where several files are offered, you can select individual worksheets and keep answer sheets separate.
