Scoring and finishing
Score 1 for each fitting answer; goal is 20 or more out of 26. Use a dictionary with a helper if you want a cooperative game.
At home and in the classroom
Print one sheet per child. A helper can read the directions first and check the completed challenge afterwards. Read answers aloud and discuss unfamiliar words. A dictionary can help settle a disputed word fairly.
Try a variation
Complete the challenge with a helper first, then try it independently.
